Santa's Elves at Casa de Esperanza

On December 10th, we will be presenting a Christmas program to the children at Casa de Esperanza (a safe home for abused or neglected children ages birth to 6 years). This is a wonderful opportunity to bring Christ’s love to children who have rarely experienced it.

We need volunteers to help with crafts, lead simple games, and serve food. No experience or talent needed. The event is 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Casa’s Village on Corder Street. Please Click Here to sign up! If all the slots are filled, come out anyway!!  CAN’T MAKE IT BUT WANT TO HELP? We are collecting donations to get Christmas, a small toy for each, and gift cards for the staff to be able to purchase items for the children.   Click here to make a Donation

ND Men’s Glee Club will perform for us on March 11

The Glee Club will be kicking off their Spring Tour in Houston on March 11th.  The amazing all-male choral group will be performing a variety of religious pieces, classical works, barbershops, spirituals and contemporary music at the Parsley Center at Strake Jesuit.

Many people have already volunteered to coordinate the various aspects of setting up the concert but we still need volunteers for the following tasks: 1) to coordinate advertising for the concert, 2)  to coordinate housing for the Glee Club members who are coming on the tour and 3) to join the sponsorship committee!

If you are interested in volunteering to help with these or other aspects of the concert, please e-mail Jeff Ullrich

We will be returning to The Gorgeous Gael every week this fall for our 2016 season gamewatches! 2015 was our first season at The Gorgeous Gael, and they blew us away with their friendly atmosphere, delicious food, discounts including free jello shots after every Irish touchdown, and above all, fantastic customer service. Every week they reserve seating for the club with capacity up to 200 people and provide full TV and sound coverage, including a projector screen. The Gorgeous Gael is truly deserving of our patronage, and we are proud to call them our Gamewatches home!

Volunteers Needed

The ND Club of Houston thrives because of its volunteers. We need help in a few areas for the coming year. These leadership roles are focused on a specific project so the time requirement is limited. Please consider the following roles if you are interested:

Contact Sandy Botticelli houston-pres@alumni.nd.edu) if you are interested in volunteering with the Club.
